The Presidency Public School - SIRA, is a co-educational day-cum-residential school, established in the year 2002, which has, over the years, gained the trust and confidence of students & parents from all over the State. Our emphasis has always been on total education, leading to the overall development of students. We commit ourselves to facilitate quality education in a friendly, stress-free and relaxed learning environment. Our students are encouraged and well-tuned to participate in extra and co-curricular activities, Sports & Games, Theatre-in-Education, Information Technology, Community Service besides Music, Painting and Value based Education.
While imparting quality education, we keep in mind the needs of the country and the rapidly changing society. Now with the introduction of New Education Policy, our efforts will be further streamlined on the lines of the new Policy. We strongly believe that mere academic performance is not enough for the present-day generation. Our efforts as teachers and parents should be to recognize, identify and foster the capabilities of individual students and promote their holistic development. We also strive hard to instil leadership qualities in our students making them realize the value and importance of discipline, creative ability and social behaviour.
As you are aware, progress of any country depends largely on the quality of education being imparted to its students. Let us therefore join our hands and give our children quality education and equip them with knowledge & skills required for their bright future. Let us also instill in them a nationalistic fervor so that they study well and become responsible citizens.
Finally, it is our collective responsibility to create a happy and favorable learning environment to our children at home as well as school. Therefore, we as teachers and parents should collaborate with one another regularly to know our children better, to know their strengths & weaknesses, learning difficulties and work together to help them have a happy & productive learning experience.
